The Black Widows RFC is a women's rugby team in Lexington, Kentucky.  We are a part of the Ohio Rugby Union, Women's Division II. We represent the city of Lexington in atheltic competition throughout the state as well as the greater region.  We promote athleticism, team unity, community service, and social enrichment.  We want to educate the community about rugby, one of America’s fastest growing sports.  We strive for excellence through skill development, volunteering, and community involvement.  Women’s rugby is breaking the mold by challenging the stereotypes placed on female athletes in a male dominated sport.
